The HYDRAN M2 General Electric Transformer Gas Monitoring System utilizes wireless transmission terminals for online monitoring of combustible gases, solving the safety hazards of difficult monitoring and gas leakage. Zhongshan Technology’s combustible gas wireless monitoring terminal connects monitoring systems, on-site gas detection, video monitoring and other sensing devices to collect target factor data, and uploads it to the cloud through wireless networks, achieving automated management of combustible gas remote real-time monitoring, accurate monitoring, and timely abnormal alarms. Wireless transmission terminal function for online monitoring of combustible gases: a 7-mode 4G RTU module with full network connectivity, providing 1 S232/485 full transparent interface, 2 switch inputs, 2 relay outputs, and 1 4V power output interface. Equipped with modbus RTU protocol, it fully supports industrial configuration applications and supports various network communication protocols such as TCP/UDP.
The traditional gas monitoring system of the GE HYDRAN-M2 monitor module is a data acquisition system composed of wires and cables as the basic transmission medium. The commonly used solution at present is to arrange sensors at key locations that need to be monitored on the monitoring site, and transmit the signals collected by each sensor to the central collection station through independent cables. The central collection station will process all connected signals and send them to the upper computer for real-time data collection. If the area to be monitored is large and requires many sensors, and the corresponding monitoring points are scattered, this traditional wired method will have problems such as complex line layout, cumbersome wiring, high installation cost, and high maintenance cost of cables in the later stage.
Due to the limitations of wired gas monitoring systems, the network coverage and support of the GE HYDRAN-M2 monitor module in many special environments remain a challenge. For example, in certain industrial sites, the use of cables is prohibited or restricted in some industrial environments, while in other industrial environments, it is required to completely shield the cables to highly prevent interference from machines or other radio control equipment in most industrial facilities. Some high-speed rotating equipment roots cannot transmit data information through cables. This traditional serial centralized monitoring system greatly affects the processing speed, reliability, and flexibility of the system.
