It is recommended to install surge suppressors on inductive loads. This surge suppressor can provide protection against high surge currents of inductive loads, thereby helping to extend the service life of the module.
When used with the MixroLogix 1100 controller, a maximum of four (4) instances of this module can be installed. If used with MicroLogix 1200, a maximum of six (6) modules are supported, while seven (1500) modules are allowed when used with MicroLogix 7.
The physical dimensions of the module are 90 x 40.4 x 87 millimeters (3.54 x 1.59 x 3.43 inches), and the height including the mounting plate is 110 millimeters (4.33 inches). Installation depends on the basic controller. As a standard configuration for MicroLogix 1100/1200 and 1400 controllers, this module supports direct panel mounted DIN rails.
