The SecureStack A2 stack is automatically configured to allow the addition or removal of the smallest pac ke t interrupt in the stack switching unit. Up to 8 SecureStack stacks support A2 switches using a single IP address for stack management. Redundant tsac k management is supported by one main stack and multiple auxiliary stack managers supported by one SSIG n. The conversion service supports standard based conversion for all SecureStack A2 switches. The IEEE switching standards (IEEE 802.1DMAC bridging) and IEEE 802.1t (802.1D maintenance), as well as multiple spanning trees (EE 802.1) and Rapid convergence (EE 802.1w), are fully supported. All switches support queues up to 8000 addresses and 4 hardware ports per port. Ethernet traffic control (EEE 802.3) and standard based link aggregation (IEEE 802.3ad) fully support all switch models. In addition, all switches support IGMP Snooping v1 and v2. Flow classification and QoS flow classification are important components of supporting fusion networks. All SecureStock A2 switches issue layer 2/3/4 packet classification and are based on any labeling at the edge
