The 5304-MBP-PDPM communication module scales and defines the output voltage between the BIU and the channel. There are two preset scaling ranges:+/-10 volts and 0 to 10 volts. The default range is+/-10 volts for bipolar scaling. The span and engineering units can range from -10000 to+10000 millivolts. Another preset range, 0 to+10 volts, is used for unipolar scaling, while providing spans and engineering units of 0 to+10000 millivolts. The following figure shows two preset ranges. After selecting a bipolar or unipolar range (see above), the scaling of each point can be customized by changing its high or low engineering units and/or output (span) values. The selected scaling value does not limit the hardware output range.

The ground wire of the PLC controller control system includes system ground, ground, AC ground, and protective ground. The interference of the chaotic grounding system on the PLC controller system is mainly due to the uneven distribution of potential at various grounding points, and the existence of ground potential differences between different grounding points, causing ground loop current and affecting the normal operation of the system.
