The MP-3000 series motor protection relay is a multifunctional microprocessor based protection relay used to protect motors of any size at all voltage levels. It is most commonly used for medium voltage starters and critical or larger motors. This relay is a current only device that provides complete and reliable motor protection, monitoring, and startup control functions. It comes in two forms: fixed installation, semi embedded or semi embedded quick release and extraction. Both shells are compact and suitable for standard IQ cutting. The optional quick release withdrawable housing has two-stage contact disconnection and self short-circuit CT circuit terminals. The backup self short-circuit terminal pair can be used as a relay removal alarm or as a non fault safe mode for continuous motor operation during relay removal.

Microprocessor based self diagnosis, user-friendly interface, large LED display screen with built-in help program, built-in test mode, LED mode and target indication remote communication, programmable discrete input and programmable output overload protection locking rotor limit tripping current, negative sequence phase imbalance instantaneous overcurrent ground fault protection, RTD tripping and alarm under load tripping with URTD module, automatic or manual reset for each start.
