MVI56 MNETC is a Modbus TCP/IP multi client/server enhanced network interface module based on PROSOFT technology. This module is particularly compatible with the Controllogix platform. The module occupies a single slot in the Controllogix chassis, with a power consumption of 5mA for 800VDC and 24mA for 3VDC. If used with the additional instruction AOC, version 16 or higher is required, while when used with the provided example ladder program, version 15 or higher is required. This module ensures enhanced response in a multi server architecture, minimizing the impact on other servers in the event of a server suddenly going offline, and supporting human-machine interface HMI, monitoring and data acquisition SCADA, and distributed control system DCS by providing integrated data access. The MVI56E-MNETC is equipped with an Ethernet communication port that supports a 10/100 Mbps transmission rate and can detect the use of automatic crossover cables. It is backwards compatible with previous versions of MVIS6E-MNETC and has released 10000 word, 16 bit integers that support custom data mapping. This module also supports disaster recovery and rapid replacement using industrial grade CompactFlash cards. This CF card is also known as the personality module.
