The UTNH series of fiber optic shared hub units, referred to as fiber optic shared hub units, manually form the TC-net 100 optical transmission line. It uses an MT RJ optical connector with 8 ports. It is worth noting that systems such as PLC and DCS, which were originally located on different hardware platforms, are tending to establish the same hardware platform with the development of computing, communication, and programming technologies, using the same operating system and programming system to perform different DCS and PLC functions. In China, programmable sequential controllers using bit chip microprocessors were developed and applied in Beijing and Shanghai around 1974 and 75. But it has not been able to form mass production. In 1979, at the beginning of the reform and opening up, with the promotion of the Instrument Bureau of the Ministry of Machinery at that time, the 584 PLC was introduced from MODICON in the United States. It was first successfully applied in auxiliary equipment such as coal conveying, ash and slag removal, water treatment systems, and cement plants in power plants, thus greatly promoting the large-scale application of PLC in China’s industry. Unfortunately, this project, which spent a large amount of foreign exchange, did not have a positive development in the future.
