The IC200CPUE05 is GE’s CPU for the VersaMax family.The IC200CPUE05 has a built-in interface to act as a system controller for up to 64 modules and up to 2048 I/O points. The IC200CPUE05 has two serial ports that are software configured for SNP and RTU slave, serial I/O operation, and local station manager operation (port 1 only). When either port is used for RTU, automatic switching to SNP slave mode is required. If the IC200CPUEO5 is in stop mode and the CPU is configured for serial I/O, the port will automatically return to SNP slave. Port 2 can power external devices if the power requirement is 100 mA or less at 5VDC. Port 1 is an RS-232 port with a 9-pin female connector.
