The IC693MDL740 is a GE Fanuc Series 90-30 programmable logic controller (PLC) module. The module is a positive logic output module that supplies current to connected loads, specifically from the module common or positive power bus. It has two (2) sets of eight (8) channels, each rated for 0.5 amp loads.

The IC693MDL740 has front panel LED indicators located on the top of the module. These LEDs represent the start-up status of each module channel and the operational status of the module, respectively.
