The front panel of the relay is divided into approximately four sections: a 40-character LCD display, keypad, light-emitting diode, and RS232 port.The 40-character LCD is an alphanumeric display that shows various system values (user-configurable) when not in use. The keypad allows for manual setpoint configuration and general navigation of the relays. the led indicates when a problem is occurring in the system and keeps the user informed of active processes. Finally, the RS232 port allows a simple and direct connection between a computer running the EnerVista 750 software and the relay.
The 750-P1-G1-S1-Hi-A20-R includes a metering feature that determines values for voltage, frequency, watt-hour cost, load-trip percentage, operating and maximum demand. The relay can use its metering function to trigger an alarm when circuit breaker maintenance thresholds are exceeded. Alarms can be indicated by the relay’s 20 aforementioned light-emitting diodes. Additional security measures can be implemented through password protection to prevent unauthorized adjustment of setpoints. This password protection applies both to manual editing from the front of the relay and to editing via the EnerVista 750 program. For manual setpoint entry configurations, a jumper must be installed at the rear end.
