The IC695PSA040 is a 120/240 volt AC or 125 volt DC, 40 watt power supply for the GE Fanuc RX3i series. It can operate with either AC or DC input power. It operates from 85-264 volts AC or 100-300 volts DC.
The RX3i power supply has three outputs.
+3.3 VDC – for internal use by RX3i modules with IC695 catalog number.
+5.1 VDC
+24 VDC relay – can be used to power circuits on output relay modules.
The PACSystems RX3i power supply is a scalable rack-mounted system that provides fast and consistent control between independent modules. Users can develop and maintain their own custom control features. This includes viewing, motion and networking.
Another great feature is the PACMotion controller, which provides all the flexibility and machine logic needed to use advanced machine automation in your business.
Although specifically designed to support the PACSystem RX3i, only one IC695PSA040 power supply can be installed at a time in the universal backplane. This power supply is not compatible with other RX3i power supplies, either in increased capacity or redundancy mode.
The power supply has four indicator lights to indicate the status of the power supply. The power indicator is located at the top and is green when the backplane is energized and amber if the power switch is off. When the P/S Fail LED glows red, the power supply has failed and is not supplying voltage to the backplane. The Overheat LED glows amber when the power supply is near or above the maximum operating temperature. The Overload LED glows amber when the power supply is near or above the maximum output capacity of any output.
It is important that the unit’s door remains closed during operation. This prevents the risk of electric shock, which can result in serious or fatal injury.
