Thrust position monitoring:
Accurately monitor the thrust position and provide reliable mechanical protection by comparing the measured axial position with the alarm set points (drive alarm and relay output).
Suitable for scenarios such as turbomachinery that require precise control of thrust position, it can detect sudden and small axial movements in 40 milliseconds or less to reduce or avoid contact between the rotor and the housing.
Differential expansion monitoring:
Due to changes in thermal conditions during turbine start-up, both the casing and rotor will increase in size. Differential expansion provides a measurement of the relative difference between the displacement sensor installed on the housing and the sensor target on the shaft.
If the shell and shaft grow at roughly the same rate, the expansion difference remains close to the required zero value. This helps to detect and adjust problems caused by uneven thermal expansion in a timely manner.
Pole position monitoring:
Can be configured as an average rod drop mode for monitoring slip belt wear in reciprocating compressors. By installing at least one displacement sensor to measure the position of the piston rod, timely notifications are issued when the piston descends, indicating the wear of the sliding belt.
Users can set a shutdown protection threshold for automatic tripping to prevent machine damage or malfunction caused by sliding belt wear.
