It can support up to 8 axes for integrated motion on Ethernet/IP networks and consumes 1 A of current at 1.5 V DC. Its maximum power consumption is 5.1 watts and thermal dissipation is 17.4 BTU/hour. It can be installed in any slot of the ControlLogix chassis. For wiring, it uses unshielded RJ45, Category 5 twisted pair cable connectors to connect to the controller. To run EtherNet/IP networks, parameters such as IP address, subnet mask, gateway, etc. must be defined.
