Allen Bradley’s 1785-CHBM ControlNet PLC-5 Hot Backpack Module is a backup module installed on the PLC-5 processor, allowing ControlNet enabled PLC-5 controllers to run in backup mode. The 1785-CHBM has a non-volatile user memory capacity of 100K words, and its memory can be granted write protection by removing jumpers on the module. This module is designed to be fully compatible with 1785-L20C15, – L40C15, or – L80C5 processors and comply with CISPR 11: Group 1, Class A (with appropriate enclosure) radiation specifications. The IEC rated operating temperature range of 1785-CHBM is 0-600 C (32-140 0F), relative humidity level is 5-95%, non condensing, and rated storage temperature range is -40-85 0C (-40-185 0F). After testing and rating, it can withstand 500 working vibrations at 2-10Hz and 30G working shock without derating, and can withstand 50G non working shock. It weighs 7.88 grams and has passed UL, CE, C-TICK, and CSA certifications.
