The GE/Bently Nevada 3500/25 Series Enhanced Keyphasor Module is a half height dual channel module used to provide Keyphasor signals to monitor modules in the 3500 rack. This module receives input signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups and converts them into digital keyphasor signals, which indicate when the keyphasor markings on the shaft coincide with the keyphasor sensor. The 3500 mechanical protection system can accept up to four Keyphasor signals in normal configuration, and up to eight Keyphasor signals in paired configuration. The Enhanced Critical Phasor Module is an improved 3500 system module. It provides an extension of the Keyphasor signal processing capability while maintaining complete downward compatibility compared to previous designs, and is compatible with existing Keyphasor modules for use in legacy systems. The Keyphasor module, PWA 125792-01, was completely replaced by the most recent module of 149369-01. When the third mock examination Redundancy (TMR) requires system critical phasor input, the 3500 system should use two Keyphasor modules in applications.This configuration module works in parallel to provide primary and secondary critical phasor signals to other modules in the rack. Systems with more than four key phasor inputs can use paired configurations, provided that there are no more than four main Keyphasor input signals- A paired configuration requires two consecutive monitoring positions at any upper or lower or two half slot positions. The four key phase modules will accept four main input channels and four backup input channels, and provide four output channels (1 for each module). Two paired and – one non paired configurations (the total number of three key phasor modules) are also possible. In this configuration, users can configure a non paired Keyphasor (order two 2-channel or one 1-channel and one 2-channel option)
