The 3500/50M Tachometer Module is a 2-channel module that accepts input pickups from proximity or magnetic detectors to determine shaft speed, rotor acceleration, or rotor direction. This module compares these measurements based on user programmable alarm settings and generates alarms when setting values are violated. The tachometer module uses 3500 rack programming configuration software. The following configuration options are available: speed monitoring, set point alarm and speed band worrying speed monitoring, set point alarm and zero speed notification speed monitoring, set point alarm and rotor amazing acceleration speed monitoring, set point alarm and reverse rotation notification. The 3500/50M tachometer module can be configured to provide conditional keyphasor signals on the backplane 3500 rack for use by other displays. The 3500/50M tachometer module has a peak holding function to store the maximum speed, maximum reverse speed, or the number of times the machine rotates in reverse. You can reset the peak value.
