General Electric has manufactured the DS200LDCCH1ALA board as a driver control and local area network (LAN) communication card. This card was developed as a member of the Mark V series driver board. The driver of the DIRECTO-MATIC 2000 series is designed to install this card in its drive cabinet. This board provides a series of functions, such as device, motor, and I/O control functions.
The driver control and LAN communication board has four microprocessors for filtering card signals. The digital and analog I/O sent to the circuit board is received and filtered by the onboard drive control processor (DCP). The LAN system fed to the drive is filtered through the onboard LAN Control Processor (LCP). The other two processors, the Motor Control Processor (MCP) and the Co Motor Processor (CMP), work together. MCP provides initial processing space for digital I/O communication. If the calculation required for the signal exceeds the spatial power provided by MCP, CMP will supplement the processing capacity. The board is equipped with a connectable alphanumeric keyboard.
