The HIMatrix controller system related to safety can be installed on the mounting base or in enclosed boxes such as control stations, junction boxes, and control racks. They are developed based on standards applicable to EMC, climate, and environmental requirements. These standards can be found in Chapter 9 Operating Conditions and the HIMatrix system manual and must be followed. The protection level (IP 20) of HIMatrix equipment can be improved by installing it in a sui-table enclosure according to specific requirements. However, it is necessary to check the heat dissipation (see Chapter 3.3). All equipment must be installed in a horizontal position (refer to the inscription on the front panel) to ensure sufficient ventilation. Vertical installation requires additional measures to ensure sufficient ventilation. Please refer to the relevant manuals for the dimensions of various devices. The minimum distance and cabinet walls between HIMatrix equipment and other manufacturers’ equipment are as follows
● Vertical minimum 100 mm,
Approximately 20 mm horizontally (set by the F60 fastening strap).
When connecting input and output as well as communication connectors, it is also necessary to consider the installation space (rack height) (refer to Chapter 3.2.3 Assembly Height).
