The G123-825 buffer amplifier is used to connect the output of a standard signal source (such as a PLC or servo amplifier) to a Moog servo proportional valve. It accepts three types of signal inputs and can output most of the Moog servo proportional valve signals. It has a unipolar active filter to remove noise from the input signal.
PLC+10v and 4-20ma input:
The G123-825 interface is used for the input end of standard PLC 10V, 4-20mA analog output signal and the output end of the Mug valve. This solves the compatibility issue between these signals and valve requirements.
Mechanical feedback (mfb) valve input:
One end of the G123-825 interface is the current output of the servo amplifier, and the other end is the Mug valve. This allows the old MFB valve to be replaced by modern electronic feedback (EFB) valves without the need to change the servo amplifier.
The buffer amplifier adopts the existing servo amplifier output and converts it into an EFB compatible signal.
Input filter:
G123-825 has a filter to remove noise from the input signal. The filter time constant is switch selectable. Switch selection and, therefore, a large number of time constants are available.
