The VMIVME-4140 analog output board provides 32 high-quality analog output channels with 12 bit resolution, which can provide or absorb 10 mA current at ± 10 V. Each output is assigned a dedicated D/A converter (DAC). The analog output can be disconnected from the on-site wiring for offline testing. Calibration and self check are initiated by VMEbus system reset or software command execution. During calibration, offset and gain coefficient tables will be compiled and stored in RAM. There is an offset and gain entry corresponding to each of the 32 channels configured within the six output voltage ranges.
