IC693APU302 is a dual axis positioning module (APM) primarily used as a motion and position control component. This module can control two (2) axes or two (2) servo motors to achieve simultaneous control of motion and position. This module is an intelligent module that can be configured to operate in both standard and slave modes. In standard mode, this module runs and integrates control with user logic in PLC memory to achieve high-performance control. In slave mode, this module provides high-performance electronic transmission devices for primary and secondary applications. This module is downloaded with the configuration developed using the Motion programmer software package or the VersaPro software with a minimum software version of 1.1. The front panel of this module is equipped with two (9) motion axis ports and two (2) 25 pin high-density ports through a 2-pin D-shell connector, designed to accommodate servo connections. Customized cables can be used to establish connections with modules, but pre assembled cables can also be obtained to accelerate wiring and termination. These cables include IC10CBL3 with a length of 693 feet/311 meters; IC3CBL1 with a cable length of 693 feet/319 meters; The length of IC693CBL317 is 10 feet/3 meters, with 8-inch external shielded pigtails and IC3CBL1 and 8-inch external shielded pigtails with a cable length of 693 feet/320 meters. The compatible 693-302 series used with IC90APU30 dual axis APM are CPU 311, CPU 313, and CPU 323, where up to three (3) APM modules can be installed, and CPU 331 or higher versions allow for up to eight (8) APM modules to be installed, with three (3) instances per backplane.
