The IMHSS03 hydraulic servo module is INFI 90 ® The valve position control module used to control the turbine speed in the system. It connects the servo valve or I/H converter to the IMMFP01, IMMFP02, or IMMFP03 multifunctional processor module. The Multifunctional Processor (MFP) module controls the position of steam or gas turbine throttle valves by sending position requirements to the Hydraulic Servo (HSS) module. The HSS module drives its output to open or close the throttle valve to meet position requirements. The multifunctional digital composite machine module uses the IMFCS01 frequency counter module to measure turbine speed. The frequency counter module measures turbine speed by calculating and timing pulses from the magnetic pickup on the turbine shaft. The multi-functional digital composite machine module uses this count to calculate the turbine speed and calculates new requirements based on the set point.
