The Emerson/Motorola IPMC712/IPMC761 multifunctional I/O module is an optional module that provides backward compatibility with early Motorola Computer Group (MCG) products using the MVME761 or MVME712M transition board. Early micro gram products include the MVME2600 and MVME2700 series SBC. IPMC712 and IPMC761 can be installed and used on MVME5100 SBC.
Both models are designed around the PMC shape and two modules, including a PCI/ISA bridge, ultra wide SCSI adapter, and super I/O functionality. Both modules are single width, standard length, and standard height PMC boards. They are connected to the motherboard PCI bus P11, P12, P13, P14, and P15 connectors through PMC. Both modules absorb+5V and+3.3V voltages through PMC connectors.
