IS200VVIBH1CAC is a GE printed circuit board manufactured for the Mark VI system. Mark VI is one of several gas and steam turbine management systems released by GE under the name “Speedtronic”.
IS200VVIBH1CAC is used as a vibration monitoring board. This PCB processes vibration probe signals from DVIB or TVIB terminal boards. These probes are directly connected to the terminal board. A circuit board can connect up to 200 probes. IS1VVIBH<>CAC digitizes these signals and sends them to the controller through the VME bus. The vibration probe is used for four protection functions, including:
Vibration.
Rotor eccentricity.
Differential expansion.
Axial position of rotor
The terminal board connected to IS200VVIBH1CAC supports seismic probes, approximate probes, velocimeter probes, and accelerometer probes provided by Bently Nevada. In simplex or TMR mode, the power supply for these probes comes from the IS200VVIBH1CAC board.
IS200VVIBH1CAC includes a panel with three LED indicator lights. These are marked as failed, status, and running. The panel is connected to the PCB surface using three screws. The board has two backplane connectors labeled P1 and P2. This board has four additional connectors. The board has several rows of inductance coils/magnetic beads, located directly behind and parallel to the P2 backplane, labeled L1 to L55. The board also comes with various diodes, capacitors, and resistors. The components are located on the surfaces of two circuit boards. Integrated circuits (over fifty types) include Xilinx Spartan Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), as well as various types of RAM and SRAM chips. GE provides technical support for this component.
