IS215UCVGH1A is a circuit board component with panels created by GE for the Mark VI system. MKVI is a steam and gas turbine management system released by General Electric as part of the Speedtronic series. The Speedtronic series began in 1969 and continued until the release of the Mark VI/Mark VIe in the 1990s.
MKVI has five versions of UCV controllers. IS215UCVGH1A is the single slot version of the controller. Any previous controller can be directly replaced by IS215UCVGH1A. If the motherboard is replaced with an earlier version of the controller, there is no need for a backplane upgrade. IS215UCVGH1A will be installed in the VME rack.
The IS215UCVGH1A is manufactured using Intel’s ultra-low voltage Celeron 650 processor chip. The chip has 128MB of SDRAM and 128 MB of flash memory. This board has a front panel. The panel has a reset switch followed by an SVGA monitor port. There is one keyboard/mouse port and two COM ports (side by side, labeled 1 and 2). The board has two stacked Ethernet ports, labeled LAN1 and LAN2. It has two independent USB connectors, four LED indicators, and a panel opening.
The IS215UCVGH1A board is filled with multiple auxiliary boards. There are brackets in some places to receive auxiliary equipment (if added). This board only has one backplane. The surface of the circuit board includes capacitors, inductor coils, crystal oscillators, oscillation chips, jumper switches, and integrated circuits.
