MVI56-PDPMV1 is a ControlLogix platform compatible module. This module is compatible with Profibus DP V1 and serves as the main device in the Profibus network. This module was developed by Prosoft Technology, a partner company of Rockwell Automation, which developed Allen Bradley PLC compatible modules.
MVI56-PDPMV1 has one (1) optically isolated RS485 port and supports the PROFIBUS DP version 1 protocol. Up to 125 PROFIBUS slave devices can be connected to this port, which is also compatible with PPPROFIBUS relays. This module can configure up to 1536 loop bytes and 1536 byte outputs, and supports extended diagnostic data.
